1. Does the Camworx solution work on any internet browser?

Yes, Camworx Lite, Premium and Pro have been developed to work on all of the popular internet browsers. Although, for best results we recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer to access you Camworx account. Internet Explorer makes best use of the h.264 and MPEG4 video player maximising the use of your available broadband bandwidth.
2. Is the Camworx solution live?

Yes when you access your installed cameras via your Camworx account, you view live image streams.
3. How many cameras can be added to my Camworx account?
Answer..
You can add as many cameras to your Camworx Lite, Premium or Pro account as you require. You are charged a subscription on a per camera per month basis.
4. Do I need ultra-fast broadband to use the Camworx solution?
Answer..
No, you don’t need high capacity broadband unless you are installing many cameras in one location sharing the same broadband connection. The Camworx solution uses video compression technology to maximise the efficiency of the available broadband connection. We recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer for best results as it makes best use of your available bandwidth.
5. Can I monitor properties in other countries?

You can install Camworx compatible cameras in any location, including foreign Countries. The only requirement is that there is a broadband internet connection at each location to allow access to your cameras. You will need access to your internet router to configure port forwarding.
6. Can I view more than one camera at a time?
Answer..
Camworx Premium and Pro products have Multiple Camera View screens available to users. These screens allow you to view up to 9 cameras at one time. Cameras can be organised into groups and saved as presets to be easily accessed again.
7. Can I view my cameras on my smartphone?
Answer..
Presently, the Camworx application will work on most Smartphone internet browsers. We will be launching specific smartphone apps in the near future.
8. Do I know when motion is detected in my premises?
Answer..
Yes, if you choose to install Camworx compatible cameras with built in PIR (passive infra-red), sensors you can be alerted by both Email and/or SMS when motion is detected in front of the camera. Users can receive instant alerts defined by chosen schedules including a snapshot of the scene with alert emails.
9. Can I arm/disarm the Camworx alerting function remotely?

Yes, you can arm/disarm some or all of your cameras from alerting you of detected events. This can be done through your Camworx online account, iPhone App or by sending a text message to the Camworx system with secure PIN.
10. Can I receive snapshots from my cameras?
Answer..
Yes, users who arm their cameras to notify them when motion is detected, can also receive a snapshot from the camera with their alert email.
11. Does Camworx provide offsite recording of security video?
Answer..
Yes, scheduled or event triggered recorded images are stored on Camworx secure servers. These images can be viewed, downloaded or stored for defined periods of time, depending on individual needs.
